Description:
CECOIS PORCELANATO is a white or grey cement based tile adhesive containing selectively graded aggregates, setting accelerators and synthetic resins. It is specifically designed to have enhanced properties of adhesion and flexibility for fixing tiles with low porosity such as porcelain mosaics or large ceramic tiles.
Application:
- CECOIS PORCELANATO powder is added to water in a clean container in the indicated proportion:
320 cm3 of water per kg of CECOIS PORCELANATO.
- The mortar can be mixed manually or by using a low speed mechanical mixer (400-500 rpm) until achieving the required consistency.
- The product is applied on the prepared surface with a serrated trowel, by spreading the layer evenly within an open time 30 minutes. The open time varies
according to prevailing temperature.
- The tiles should be fixed within the open time of the applied adhesive and pressed Into place to achieve the required contact and coverage.
- For highly absorbent surfaces, it is recommended to wet the area of application before placing the tile, using a notched trowel for 2 mm thick layer.
- For larger tiles, it is necessary to apply adhesive both on the back of the tile and the prepared surface.
